If you're thinking of traveling to a 3rd-world country like Cuba, touch up on your laws and prepare to suffer the consequences when breaking them.

Mr Adler,,, a dayly lisitner,,, on the Cody case you should be verry careful on what you say,, sometimes it can backfire,,we hear one side of the incident and there is still some question that need to be answered,,,
Who was the car rented to,,did they have insurance,
where is the lady who was injured in the accident.
I have spent some time in Cuba and seen first hand how some of our young men and ladies behave at the resorts very embaraseing to be a canadian, i hope things work out for Cody. but we must respect the law of the country we visit.

Charles, keep this story going. This family needs to come home.
As for the previous emailer,I think the car was rented to Cody's mom. Cody was driving with his mother, Uncle and the Uncle's Cuban fiance. We haven't heard anything about the Cuban driver who hit the car. As to date, the authorities haven't started an investigation but the lawyer is pretty sure Cody will be found guilty.
I, personally, would never visit Cuba or rent a car in another country. However, that doesn't take away my compassion for this family. There is a good chance Cody could go to prison for up to 3 years. This is where our government should be stepping in and bringing them home.
